Bradford’s Bedroom Turned Out Some Good Tunes

The free “Bedroom Databank” collections that Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox released for free on his blog turned out to be some really good stuff.  I didn’t expect them to be bad, but I certainly didn’t expect to hear what I heard.   They are a mixture of electronic and folk music that deliver top to bottom.

Not only is the music good but the production values are much higher than I had anticipated.  Guitars are crystal clear, percussion crisp, and vocals as clear as any full studio effort by Cox and his counterparts.  Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth here, 4 free albums don’t always fall in your lap.  Please take advantage of Bradford’s graciousness.  You will be pleasantly surprised, .
